About Peter Charles Lacey
Peter is a successful local businessman with a strong sense of community. He was instrumental in setting up a COVID community support organisation and in bringing together the volunteer force that supports the vaccination push across the district. He has lived in the area for over 30 years and has seen his four boys attend St Aidan’s school. His work brings him into regular contact with senior managers and policy makers in health and care services giving him particular insights into the challenges of this sector.
If elected Peter and his LibDem colleagues will work for a cleaner, greener, safer Harrogate; appropriate attention to infrastructure and congestion in the light of current house building and a pause on new green field development until these issues are addressed; responding to the needs of people most affected by the cost of living crisis; getting the best start for our children including COVID catch-up and youth services; backing local businesses and radically improved recycling.
