About Michael John Schofield
Michael was born in Harrogate and moved on to Harlow Hill as a child. He is currently the landlord of The Shepherds Dog pub which he took over in 2014. He also set up Wharfedale Fruiterers during the first lockdown.
He is married with two children, both of whom attend local schools. For the last couple of Rossett Acre Pantomimes, Michael has played the role of Dame and will continue in future years as it helps to provide income for the school.
“I believe it is important to see improved funding for schools. In addition as local businesses continue to struggle it’s important to grow the ‘buy local’ campaign so everyone is contributing to a much stronger local economy.”
