About Gordon Schallmo
Hello my name is Gordon and I’ve been a Green Party member for 7 years, this is my second time standing for the Greens. I have lived in Starbeck for the past 12 years. It is a beautiful area where I have enjoyed bringing up my two daughters. I work as a draughtsman at a local steel construction firm but my true passion is volunteering at a local nature reserve.
I do this because I consider myself an environmentalist and I’d like to do my bit to pass on the importance of looking after the environment. My main reason for standing is because I’d like to address the poor town planning that in recent years has seen money wasted on poorly thought-out schemes and rather than just complaining about it I thought I’d done something about it so here I am.
