About Christopher John Watt
Chris is a well known campaigner for his local community, having led the fight to save its local swimming pool. He continues to work with residents against unsustainable and inappropriate development on greenfield sites that will further clog already congested local streets and increase pollution. He is actively involved in a number of local organisations.
Chris moved to Starbeck 13 years and works in a national role for the NHS, having spent 6 years working at Harrogate Hospital.
He was previously Parliamentary aide to a Minister in the last Labour Government and led Government relations for an environmental organisation.
